Hi All!
I would like to take the opportunity to celebrate spring coming (and my birthday too!) with a groupmuse along with new and old friends that pandemic and life have displaced far apart between US and Europe.
On the occasion I took off some rust from my fingers and got them on track to perform some of the beloved classical piano repertoire.
The program will be defined later on but for sure it will include 4 preludes and fugues from Bach WTC, a Mozart piano sonata and finally Beethoven piano sonata op 27 no2 (well known as 'Al chiaro di luna' - 'Moonlight').
Looking forward to remotely meeting you all!
What's the music?
J. S. Bach: Preludes and Fugues from the Well Tempered Clavier, Book 2
i. C sharp - BWV 872
ii. C sharp minor - BWV 873
iii. A flat - BWV 886
iv. B flat minor - BWV 891
W. A. Mozart: Sonata in F major K332
i. Allegro
ii. Adagio
iii. Allegro assai
L. van Beethoven: Sonata quasi una fantasia op. 27 no. 2 ("Al Chiaro di Luna" - "Moonlight")
i. Adagio sostenuto
ii. Allegretto
iii. Presto agitato
