Welcome to the new online concert series " Yannick and Friends"
I have hosted many groupmuses already but here is a place where you can sign up for all the upcoming ones at once.
There will be a range of different formats ( Livestream, Premiere) as well as programing from Solo piano, to chamber music and experimental collaborations.
Here is the first of those experimental collaborations. The concept is called S L O W and it grew from an old friendship with Gregoire Simon( violinist, violist, keyboardist, composer) and a common love for " slow " movements, or " slow " pieces.
We decided to create a program with his band SUGAR formed with Ole Ejnar Brolin around our favorite slow music.
In this special concert, you will hear music such as Debussy or Messiaen arranged for Piano and electronics as well .
The sound world is unique, trippy , meditative, timeless..
The concert was professionally captured by Fabio Dondero so you can immerse yourself into the music through his creative filming.
Recorded for Incense of Music in Berlin Panda Theater.
