Having a lot of experience from live concerts, recently I was curious to try a more modern way of presenting my art through the World Wide Web, and Groupmuse gives me the opportunity to live this new experience, in a very critical situation for humanity.
This upcoming concert will be my first one, that is why I am looking forward to meeting the new platform and especially the people, the audience, the fans behind it. What challenges me is to convey the atmosphere of a real concert through my computer, so that all listeners will live a unique artistic experience.
I will present a variety of music flavors, however I must underline that I will also play the legendary Chromatic Fantasy by the great - great J. S. Bach, for first time on stage. As well as transcriptions of other emblematic works by Bach for violin and keybord, together with contemporary music by Drozd, Ivanovic, Gangi and Rak.
What's the music?
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)
: Chaconne (Partita in D Minor for violin, BWV 1004)
Gerard Drozd (b. 1955)
: Adagio, Homage to J. S. Bach, op.44
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)
: Chromatic Fantasy in E minor (original in D minor, for harpsichord, BWV 903)
Vojislav Ivanovic (b. 1959)
: Café no. 5 (Nostalgia)
Mario Gangi (1923 – 2010)
: Study no. 21
: Study no. 9
: Study no. 19
Štěpán Rak (b. 1945)
: Balalaika
