NOTE: Due to a minor scheduling conflict, we need to move the groupmuse to an hour earlier. Apologies for the change and we'll see you at 2pm ET!
Benedict Kloeckner is one of the sublime cellists of our age. He’s readied a performance bookended by two of the mega-masterworks for his instrument — Bach’s 1st and 6th Cello Suites. Between these two revelations are a couple of new works — one channeling sounds from South Africa’s legendary township Soweto by composer Bongani Ndodana-Breen, and the other a piece by celebrated Boston-Mexican composer José Elizondo.
Both this performance and our Budu Christmas have been generously underwritten by a small community of patrons — so all of the money raised for this groupmuse will go to the Groupmuse Foundation and will be fully tax-deductible.
We’ll see you there!
