Back in the days before COVID-19...

PMHU's prison outreach programs brought music education, encouragement, and an important sense of community to inmates in numerous correctional facilities. During the suspension of our in-person programs, we have begun developing a virtual, college accredited course to be delivered to correctional institutions across the country: The Complete Beethoven String Quartets & Their Far-Reaching Impact.

PMHU JUST finished our very first "Virtual Beethoven Cycle Course" Recording Session this November in Los Angeles.

In this Groupmuse event, we look forward to sharing our plans for developing this course and performing the two Beethoven quartets we just recorded that will be used as part of the course. We'll have all the musicians and teaching artists involved in the project in the concert and q&a - so we can have a great time delving into different topics/philosophies/questions surrounding Beethoven - his life, his music, his impact - answer any questions about our plans for this project!
