Join for a concert of (Syncopated) Bach and new music by Nailah Nombeko, Marc Chan and me (Sam Post). Over the last year I've come to know two amazing composers in the New York area. Over the summer Marc Chan and I had a "canon correspondence" which is exactly as nerdy as it sounds, and you'll hear some of the many, many canons we collaborated on. Also over the summer, I put out a call amongst composers worldwide for recently written piano music, and Nailah Nombeko was the winner. I'll be presenting her three pieces for piano. (Proceeds from the concert will be going to both composers.)
