Strange Interlude returns with a program of works for harp and cello to dazzle and delight (or at the very least distract) you on Saturday October 24th.
Our program includes a selection of pieces by French harpist and composer Marcel Tournier, works by Italian opera composers (including a Bellini Nocturne actually written for harp and cello!), and another Strange Interlude composer collaboration - fellow Haverford alum Stuart Diamond's exquisite Sonatine.
Join us in the pre and post concert Zoom's for some social time with the ensemble and composer, and experience an interlude of calm and enchantment during the livestream on YouTube as we share some works from our home studio in Los Angeles.
Be safe, be well and happy listening!
What's the music?
Marcel Tournier: Promenade à l'automne, Deux préludes, La lettre du jardinier
Stuart Diamond: Sonatine
Granville Bantock: Hamabdil
Jules Massenet: Meditation from Thaïs
