Hosts

De'Siree G. (she/her)

Adrienne Baker is a flautist who is a champion of "music influenced by artists of color and works to expose audiences to these lesser-known composers." (http://www.theflutepursuit.com/bio)

Join us for a concert livestreamed out of NY to experience Adrienne's story come to life through the power of music!

This is a livestream concert presented by Groupmuse's Planetary Music Movement.

The Planetary Music Movement seeks to guide Groupmuse’s work in overcoming historical dominance of European ethnocentrism within the classical music tradition, primarily through broadening our society’s capacity to celebrate historical and contemporary musical traditions of the planet, particularly and imminently through the inclusion and celebration of works by artists of African descent.
