Hi everyone,
We are so thrilled to present our 7th virtual Groupmuse dedicated to the music of Franz Schubert!
Sonatina in D Op.137 No.1
Selected Lieder
Rondo Brillant in B D.895
Please join us for a beautiful evening of some of Schubert's greatest masterworks for violin and piano. Sonatina No.1 dates back to 1816, when Schubert was just 19 years old. The lieder were composed between 1810 and 1828, and the Rondo Brillant was composed towards the end of his life, in 1826 (and premiered by the same violinist who commissioned the infamous Fantasy in C).
We hope to see you on Zoom with a drink in hand!
