Hosts

Welcome to Daniel and Francesca's first COVID-era live concert! Enjoy a socially-distanced light classical concert Live Streamed on YouTube, with the social portion on Zoom. $3 reserves your spot. After joining via Zoom and meeting other guests, Daniel and Francesca will play a delightful assortment of pieces. Francesca Anderson, Principal Flute with Folsom Lake Symphony, has an enchanting way with the flute family. Whether on the silver flute, its smaller and larger versions, or a harmonizing Native American double-bore wooden flute, Francesca captivates with her skill and expression. Daniel Roest has received wide acclaim for his classical guitar concerts. His concerts are called “fun and entertaining,” (Portland Classic Guitar Concert Series) and moving, “listening to him, we get the feeling that we are with one of the great players of the guitar.” (Tiempo Latino)

Both Daniel and Francesca have given countless solo and ensemble performances in nearly every kind of venue, and both have M.A. in Music degrees from San Jose State University. Their repertoire features plenty of variety with light classical being the main theme. Enjoy their first concert in 2020 safely from your home! A Groupmuse Master of Ceremonies and local host Anara Guard will facilitate the Zoom experience and YouTube Live Stream. And you will be able to ask questions of the musicians after the concert.
A review from a previous Groupmuse:
"Thoroughly enjoyed Daniel and Francesca's beautiful guitar and flute duets. While it was obvious they were both very accomplished in their chosen instruments separately, hearing the two weave their sounds together made for a thrilling experience. These two love what they do, do it well together and by sharing experiences and knowledge of their music and instruments, make the audience feel very included."
Their last concert was sold out. Reserve early!
