About

I am a guitarist, composer and bandleader based in Brooklyn, New York since 2014.
I grew up playing rock and quickly got drawn into jazz for its improvisation qualities, the spontaneous and attentive communication and the wide breath of possibilities!

This passion and path of over 15 years led me to NY to finish a bachelor's degree at The New School for Jazz, and I stayed here and kept expanding my musical vocabulary and interests ever since. New York is home and I love the city's global community and culture!

I'm an active member of the music scene here and abroad, leading my own ensembles, playing solo and as part of many bands, with performances across New York, the US, Canada and Europe.

I'm very passionate about the guitar and always seeking new, creative ways to play the instrument - whether I'm exploring jazz, classical music, South-American music, or any good music that comes my way.
I hope my music enables people to connect to themselves and others more.

Music

I love playing a wide range of musical styles, depending on the setting and the things I'm most connected to at the moment.

That can span from my own solo arrangements and spontaneous interpretations of jazz standards and songs by the likes of Joni Mitchell, The Beatles or Stevie Wonder, to Brazilian music in the style of choro, samba and Baiao, all the way to classical pieces by Agustin Barrios, Leo Brouwer, Ravel or J.S. Bach.

I'm all about variety and connecting those different traditions through the huge palette of the guitar and would be happy to present a program that either focuses on one aspect or contains a broader scope.
