About

We are three accomplished women with impressive musical backgrounds who bonded over creative kindred spirits while building friendship, fun program content, and unique performance engagements. Our repertoire consists of classical, jazz and pop favorites arranged for any combination of Flute, Alto Flute and Bass Flute.

Navelle Kelso, Flute: MM Cal Arts. Plays with FluteSonic orchestra and has held Principal Flute positions with the Culver City Chamber Orchestra, the Brentwood-Westwood Symphony and Camarata of Los Angeles

Katrina Curdy, Alto Flute: MM USC. Is a member of the Arias Troubadors, a group that performs the music of early California, and plays with the Crystal Cathedral orchestra Tehachapi Symphony, , Topanga Symphony and others

Lynda Harman, Bass Flute: BA Music UC, ARCM Royal College of Music; Plays in Colburn Jazz Combo, Won National Flute Association (NFA) competitions to solo with NFA Jazz Flute Big Band, and ensemble player with NFA Professional Chamber Ensemble

Music

A small sampling of our ever-growing repertoire includes classical pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy; new music from National Flute Associate competition winners (e.g. Jonathan Cohen); jazz standards by Gershwin, Van Morrison and Jobim; and pop classics by Henri Mancini, Burt Bacharach, The Beatles and Paul Simon. Our programs are custom fitted for our audiences, however we like to mix all genres on our programs which demonstrates the diversity of our playing.
