Music

I play original music rooted in the rich traditions of Indian classical music, shaped by my studies with Raja Angara, a disciple of Pandit Ravi Shankar and Annapurna Devi. My performances explore intricate ragas, improvisations, and compositions inspired by my time studying sitar in India. This work is enriched by my training at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music, where I studied classical guitar, composition, and jazz. These diverse influences, along with my exploration of Flamenco and Brazilian music during my time living around the world, shape a unique sound that bridges Indian classical traditions with contemporary and global styles. It’s a soulful exploration of connection and emotion, blending heritage with innovation.
