About

I currently serve as Principal Harp of the Orlando Philharmonic, as well as the harp instructor at UCF. I have a Master of Music from Yale and degrees in music and math from Indiana University. While I am classically trained, I enjoy playing and sharing all types of music, and particularly enjoy introducing audiences to music they might not have heard before!

Music

A program for a group muse could include some of the following:

-Works by Bach transcribed for had or harp+other instruments (Keyboard partitas, flute and keyboard sonatas, etc)
-20th Century harp sonatas (Hindemith, Flagello, Houdy, Casella, Britten, etc)
-Debussy Sonata for flute, viola and harp; or Danses Sacrée et profane; or transcriptions for harp of solo Debussy works
-Ravel Introduction et allegro
-Major works for harp by Henriette Renié
-Smetana "The Moldau" harp transcription
-Piazzolla Histoire du Tango (harp and flute)
-Caplet "Conte fantastique" (harp and string quartet)
-Salzedo Variations sur un thème dans le style ancien
