About

I'm a composer and pianist based in San Diego. I tour throughout the Northern Hemisphere, and my compositions are performed worldwide.

Aside from music, I love getting together with friends, new and old. I love visiting family around the world, hiking, swimming, meditating, working out, and eating my veggies.

My girlfriend, Kimberly, is also my personal trainer, masseuse, social media advisor, fashion consultant, photographer, videographer, and speaking coach. I would not be able to perform at my current level without her generous support.

You will almost certainly meet her at the concert too! We approach life as a team sport.

Music

I love lyrical, emotionally gripping music. This means classics like Schubert, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. I also play modern composers that appeal directly to feeling: Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Ginastera, Carla Bley, etc.

I also play one or two of own works on solo piano and chamber recitals.
