About

I am pianist and former symphony conductor. I grew up in NY and received my training at The Juilliard School and the University of Michigan. When moving to Portand in the 1990s to be an Assistant Conductor to James Depriest I also taught music appreciation classes, and developed and hosted my own radio show on KBPS 89.9 Classical called ‘The Great Interpretations.’ For 7 years I was the resident pianist at The Allison Inn, playing weekly, along with winery and private events throughout Oregon and Washington.

Music

I was trained as a classical pianist. But my repertoire is vast. I have a love of musical theater, the American songbook., popular music of today, jazz, films, etc.
And I love taking requests of any genre.
And I have a digital piano (if you don’t have a piano), that you will think you are listening to a Steinway Grand!
