About

Colombian Composer and Guitarist based in Portland, Oregon.
Daniel attended Universidad de los Andes, studying with Maestros Carlos Castilla, Carlos Rocca Lynn and Jaime Arias Obregon.
He has taken classes, masterclasses and workshops with Leo Brouwer, Eduardo Fernandez, Jorge Caballero, Fernando Otero, Ion Marmarinos, Julian Malaussena, Carlos Alomar, David Torn, Elliott Sharp, Trey Gunn, Robert Fripp and Nik Bartsch among many others.
Daniel has released several albums and his work has been featured in films in Australia, Europe and the United States. He has toured North America, South America and Europe.
Daniel is recipient of the Regional Arts Culture Council of Oregon and The Foundation for Contemporary Arts in NYC.

Music

Currently I am performing the series of the composition cycle "études" plus Latin-American music from the 20th and 21st Century included in my last record co-produced by Trey Gunn and engineered by Marc Whitmore.
