About

I'm a recent graduate from the University of Iowa and a freelance singer in Chicago. Currently I sing with Wicker Park Choral Singers, Common Pulse, the Chicago Chorale, and Chicago Choral Artists. I've also been seen with Transgressive Theatre-Opera and in several Chicago area churches. I love chamber music, art song, and sharing music with others, so GroupMuse is a great place to be!

Art Song, Opera Arias, Vocal Chamber Music

I have a specific love for British choral works, and British art song from the turn of the 20th century. Composers like Gerald Finzi, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Benjamin Britten, Rodger Quilter, and Ivor Gurney are personal favorites. I also love American art song from its beginnings in the parlor songs of Stephen Foster all the way up to contemporary folks like Jake Heggie, Stephen Paulus, and Nico Muhly.
