About
Annmarie Errico is a dual-trained jazz vocalist and mezzo-soprano. Since starting singing at the age of eight, she has lent her voice to a variety of singing styles. She has performed in small combos and big bands at New York's Metropolitan Club, Cosmopolitan Club, The Jazz Standard, the KGB Bar Red Room, The Tony Bennett Concert Hall, and many others. She is a winner of the International Women in Jazz Youth in Action Award. As an operatic mezzo-soprano she has played the roles of Marcellina (The Marriage of Figaro), Hansel (Hansel und Gretel), Flora (La Traviata), Suor Dolcina (Suor Angelica), Mother Jeanne (Dialogues des Carmelites), and others. She is a sought after choral ringer who has sung in churches throughout the tri-state area. She currently sings in the professional chancel choir of The Brick Presbyterian Church on Manhattan's Upper East Side. She is an alum of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and the Aaron Copland School of Music. She is also a writer.
