About

I am a violist with a doctorate from Peabody. I perform as a solo and collaborative artist in the US and abroad. I have worked with composers in premiering their chamber and solo viola compositions. In my performances, I try to connect and engage with the audience by both speaking and communicating through my viola. I have specifically focused on giving voice to music of oppressed or underrepresented people by programming repertoire composed in the Holocaust, by female composers and refugee composers. I live and play by the Beethoven quote, "...to play without passion is inexcusable". I love being able to connect with expression and depth to my ensemble members and audiences.
